We will cover the following topics: - Best practice - Quarry recognition - Attire... Is tweed really necessary? - Gun safety, including how to hold and load your gun - Identifying which bird is yours - Tipping etiquette at the end of a successful day - Selecting the right cartridge and choke for the species you’re shooting - Do you need to change chokes between drives? - The role of gundogs and which breeds are best suited - The responsibilities of beaters and gamekeepers We will then check your guns before heading out to shoot various types of sustainable ammunition at driven targets.
