The ultimate Historical European Martial Arts weekend! Including three days of martial arts classes, activities and camping space. Have you ever wanted to learn to sword fight? Now's your chance! FightCamp welcomes any adult participant over the age of 18, from complete beginners to experienced armed and unarmed martial arts practitioners. Throughout the weekend there will be a variety of classes, workshops, tournaments and have a go activities. 50 instructors from around the world will be offering a variety of sessions. Classes will include longsword, broadsword, sword and buckler, rapier, messer, polearms, grappling, archery and much more. The FightCamp site will open from 6pm on the 23rd of July 2026 for camping, and the event will kick off on Friday 24th of July at 9.30am. Classes are not pre booked, simply arrive at the appropriate arena five minutes before they are due to begin, with the right equipment where possible. Indoor classes in the training hall have limited participation numbers, so arrive early to ensure you get a place in these sessions. Camping is available until 6pm on Sunday 26th July. ( Please note there is no option to stay until the Monday at our new venue. Local campsites and hotels are available for separate booking if you wish to stay in the area longer.
