Dr. Tom Noffsinger
Veterinary Consultant, Production Animal Consultation
Dr. Tom Noffsinger is a nationally recognized expert in low-stress cattle handling and feedyard veterinary care. Based in Benkelman, Nebraska, he works directly with producers to improve cattle health, performance, and human-animal interactions through better stockmanship. Dr. Noffsinger is known for his passionate, hands-on teaching style and has helped shape animal handling practices across the industry. In 2023, he was honored as the
Beef Quality Assurance Educator of the Year
for his commitment to cattle welfare and producer education.
Dr. David Lalman
Professor & Extension Beef Cattle Specialist
Oklahoma State University
Dr. David Lalman is a leading voice in beef cattle production and management. He holds the Harrington Endowed Chair at Oklahoma State University with joint responsibilities in extension and research. His work emphasizes cow/calf and stocker systems, beef cattle nutrition, and genetic-by-environment interactions. He coordinates the Animal Science Extension Program and supervises the Range Cow Research Center. Dr. Lalman’s mission is to provide producers with tools to improve cow herd efficiency, enhance product quality, and increase ranch profitability.
