The Book Bazaar and Book Dragon Den are teaming up to bring you a bookish craft club like no other! Each month features a new creative project inspired by our love of books. Join us for an evening of creativity and a little everyday magic as we transform simple materials into glowing works of art ✨ At this craft night, we’ll be creating faux stained glass window pieces, delicate, light-catching designs that shimmer like something plucked straight from a storybook. Using easy, beginner-friendly techniques, you’ll choose a design to hang in your window and let the sunlight bring it to life. No experience needed, just bring your imagination and settle in for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere filled with good company, gentle creativity, and a touch of whimsy. Join us for Art in The Park, a chill morning of creativity and good vibes surrounded by nature and good friends - in french! -This workshop will be conducted in both french and english- Join us for a fun-filled morning at Rose Valley Community Park where kids can get creative and enjoy outdoor an interactive morning learning about colours and creating a piece of art of their own! Bring your little artists and let their imagination run wild in a relaxed, friendly setting. We will start with a circle time, followed by a Colour Theory lexploration activity, and to round everything off we will head over to create some fun art for you to take home. The park is open to the public and is open for friends to stay and play for however long you desire; there is a shade structure with picnic benches which make a lovely lunch spot! This workshop is geared towards children between the ages of 1-6 years old. This workshop will be conducted in both french and english. We highly encourage our little artist to come dressed for creativity; clothing that is ok to get dirty/stained is ideal. Smocks and aprons can also be a very nifty for these sessions. Nous encourageons vivement nos petits artistes à venir habillés pour laisser libre cours à leur créativité ; des vêtements qui ne craignent pas d’être salis sont idéaux.
